Easy-out Spektrum receiver
| you can use this tip with any receiver, but it’s especially useful with Spektrum and other 2.4GHz receivers because their short antenna wires are easily concealed under the body. To make it easier to swap my receiver from car to car, mount the receiver on a tray along with an antenna mount. A toolbox drawer divider and an Associated antenna mount are shown here, but you could also use Associated’s receiver tray/antenna mount from the RC10GT (Item no. 7528). Use a lighter to soften and bend the antenna tube so it fits under the body. Now, when you want to swap receivers, you don’t have to fuss with re-routing the antenna.
